Operator Hazards & Field Notes
Kickback geometry
Cut with the lower-front quadrant of the blade. The EK7651H's extra mass damps some reaction force but does not eliminate kickback — upper-quadrant contact or a pinched kerf still drives the saw up and back. Two hands, stable stance, relieve long kerfs.
Oil discipline
Check the crankcase before every shift — a 4-stroke run low on oil dies permanently, and there's no oil in the fuel to save you. Conversely: never premix. A rental yard's EK7651H that 'won't run right' has usually been fed 50:1 by someone on autopilot.
